Get a leak-proof seal in minutes — step-by-step instructions for tanks, aquariums & hydro systems
Installation Overview
- Drill the correct hole size
- Ensure all mating surfaces are clean, dry, and free of debris
- Insert bulkhead from inside the tank
- Place gasket on the flange side (wet side)
- Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for no more than an additional ⅛–¼ turn — do not over-tighten
- Test for leaks before full operation
Bulkhead fittings seal with gasket compression — not excessive force.
